Πουλάνε οι Dream Theater

Σε μεγάλη εμπορική επιτυχία έχει αναδειχτεί το νέο άλμπουμ των Dream Theater με τίτλο "Black Clouds & Silver Linings", σκαρφαλώνοντας στο Νο.6 του Billboard Top 200 . Ο δίσκος που κυκλοφόρησε στις 23 Ιουνίου, πούλησε την πρώτη εβδομάδα 40.000 αντίτυπα .

Αυτή είναι η μεγαλύτερη εμπορική επιτυχία των Dream Theater , μετά από 25 χρόνια στην παγκόσμια μουσική σκηνή.

Στην κυκλοφορία ενός άλμπουμ με διασκευές προχωράει ο Alexi Laiho και η παρέα του . Το άλμπουμ θα βγει σε τρις εκδόσεις, αναλόγως την περιοχή του πλανήτη που θα εκδοθεί .

Λεπτομέρειες για το Νέο Άλμπουμ των Ensiferum

Οι Ensiferum ανακοίνωσαν τις πρώτες λεπτομέρειες για την καινούργια τους δισκογραφική δουλειά. Το άλμπουμ θα ονομάζεται "From Afar" και θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 9 Σεπτεμβρίου. Παραγωγός του είναι ο Tero Kinnunen, που έχει συνεργαστεί με ονόματα όπως Nightwish και Amorphis .

Kerry King : " Ηχογραφήσαμε γρηγορότερα απ' ότι συνήθως"

Με αυτή του τη δήλωση ο κιθαρίστας των Slayer, αναφέρεται στην επερχόμενη κυκλοφορία των Thrash θρύλων "World Painted Blood".

"Είχαμε ένα χρονικό περιθώριο που δεν μπορούσαμε να ξεπεράσουμε, και έπρεπε να κάνουμε ότι καλύτερο μπορούσαμε . Ηχογραφήσαμε γρηγορότερα τα κομμάτια απ' ότι κάνουμε συνήθως . Πιστεύω τα κομμάτια έχουν ένα 80's retro , σαν το υλικό που φτιάχναμε στο garage του Tom Araya " είπε.

Lacuna Coil New Video

"I Like It" ονομάζεται το νέο video clip των Ιταλών, που προέρχεται από την πρόσφατη δισκογραφική δουλειά τους με τίτλο "Shallow Life", που κυκλοφόρησε στις 21 Απριλίου . Το clip σκηνοθέτησε ο Kevin Custer, που έχει συνεργαστεί με μπάντες όπως οι Kingdom Of Sorrow, Testament, Dope, Madball και Overkill.

Μπαίνουν στο Στούντιο οι Dark Tranquillity

Με ανακοίνωση τους οι DT μας ενημέρωσαν για τα μελλοντικά τους σχέδια . Οι Σουηδοί είπαν πως τον Σεπτέμβριο θα μπουν στο στούντιο για την ηχογράφηση του νέους τους υλικού, που θα είναι στα γνώριμα μονοπάτια του ήχου τους , και ευελπιστούν το άλμπουμ να είναι έτοιμο μέχρι τις αρχές του 2010 . Θα περιέχει 10 κομμάτια, με τίτλους όπως έχουν οριστεί αυτή τη στιγμή να είναι 'I Am The Void', 'Zero Distance', 'The Burden Of Love Alive', 'Archangelsk' και 'Memories In Reverse' .

"Time to let you in on the plans for our upcoming ninth (or tenth, depending on how you count) full-length album. The as-yet-untitled beast will be recorded in September and October and released in early 2010 through Century Media Records.

"We'll keep the recording setup completely in-house this time. Drums will be tracked in Daniel Antonsson's [bass] studio, while the remaining instruments will be immortalized in Martin Brändström's [electronics] newly renovated Rogue music facilities. The mixing duties will once again be handled by Tue Madsen in his Antfarm studio in Denmark.

"As for the music itself, it's a bit too early to delve into details, but the material feels diverse and fresh and covers all the facets of the DARK TRANQUILLITY sound. Those who are familiar with our songwriting process know that we always keep re-arranging and experimenting with the material until the recording starts, and while we currently have the basic foundations for around 10 songs, many things are still open. The final result is likely to surprise ourselves as well as you people.

"Some tentative song titles are 'I Am The Void', 'Zero Distance', 'The Burden Of Love Alive', 'Archangelsk' and 'Memories In Reverse', though these are subject to change as usual."

Οι Καναδοί metaller's μας αποκάλυψαν το artwork της νέας τους δουλειάς με τίτλο 'Here Waits Thy Doom' . Το άλμπουμ θα κυκλοφορήσει 31 Αυγούστου στην Ευρώπη, ενώ ημερομηνία για την Αμερική έχει οριστεί η 8η Σεπτεμβρίου. Το 'Here Waits Thy Doom' θα περιέχει 11 κομμάτια και 3 διασκευές.
